Antonietta Collins

Antonietta Toniz Collins (born in Mexico) is an Mexican American sportscaster. She hosts SportsNation and is an anchor for SportsCenter anchor. The first time she worked for ESPN in the year 2016. She is the daughter of television journalist Maria Antonieta Collins. Antonietta Collins is a bilingual woman and has been for a long time, starting at the age of nine. The ability to speak two languages allowed her to land her first position at Univision, Miami. She was able to work with national producers on programs like Nuestra Belleza Latina Premios Lo Nuestro Premios Juventud Primer Impacto. Her next assignment was reporter for sports at The CBS St. Petersburg Affiliate. In 2009 she moved into Rio Grande Valley, Texas to work as a news reporter for The Spanish channel KNVO TV 48 Univision and Fox2 News. Reporting on stories about immigration and drug-trafficking on both sides of the border, she was a reporter for five minutes of the p.m. Spanish newscast a anchor, reporter and later anchor for anchoring the 9 p.m. news in English and also a reporter again for news at 10:30 p.m. Spanish newscast. Later, she was anchor and reporter for Univision's Dallas affiliate Deportes 23 where she was assigned more responsibility. In 1992, her parents separated soon after. In 1995, she was remarried Fabio Fajardo, a naval engineer who died in 2006 from kidney cancer. She stayed in Canton Ohio with her older sister in the summertime and was provided with a job. Antonietta who was in high school with an idea of what she thought her future would be, visited Mount Union University in order to find out what she could get out of the college. It was a beautiful campus and offered the degree she was looking for. Following the completion of the requirements for high school, she attended the University to pursue media studies. Mark Bergmann - her professor was also the station managing director at WRMU (91.1 FM), where she belonged. Mark's passion for journalism and her self-confidence instilled confidence in her. In turn, she, tried to meet his expectations and never let him down.
